Research Consulting Internship

A Rewarding, Meaningful Internship

We are seeking an outstanding student pursuing a career in marketing insights, analytics, or consulting who desires a stimulating and meaningful internship. Our interns are engaged on a variety of dynamic, challenging projects involving issues directly impacting clients’ strategic directions. Our firm values interns and encourages the application of skills learned in graduate school. We value continuous learning and provide the support of a strong team environment.

Key intern experiences include:

·                                   Opportunity to make a difference on both internal procedures and actual client projects

·                                   Exposure to projects and methods that provide a significant competitive career advantage

·                                   Work with leading qualitative techniques supported by multivariate quantitative statistics

·                                   Exposure to our breakthrough proprietary consulting methods

·                                   Opportunities for interaction with client’s senior executives

Interns must have the ability to:

·         Communicate and interact with vendors and clients

·         Produce written summaries (writing sample is required)

·         Quickly grasp and follow established processes and procedures

·         Support project processes, presentations, and related tasks

·         Complete secondary research

·         Analyze client-provided background reports

·         Conduct and translate statistical analysis

·         Form independent preliminary hypothesis

·         Assess internal needs and be willing to perform any roles necessary to complete the task

Post-Internship Possibility

During the course of the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to assess our company and how it fits with his/her career goals. Some flexibility is available for the intern to define his or her own job path. Full-time employment upon student’s graduation is a distinct possibility.

Former interns and consultants have gone on to work for Frito-Lay, TXU, AT&T, Nortel, Ericsson, BMW, Avaya-Lucent, Cisco, EDS, and other major firms.

Terms, Hours, and Compensation

Interns must be available for at least 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible and set around the student’s schedule. While this is a paid internship, the major benefit is providing an unusual opportunity to gain professional experience closely working with an industry leader.
